Inspired by an ancient Japanese primitive printing technique, known as Gyotaku I bring, in my Folia Mystica series, the subtleties of foliage to light and immortalize their mystical beauty.

The rendering is irregular, imperfect and slightly diffuse to bring out their ethereal aspect and to emphasize their peculiarity.

As already Nietzsche said: ” One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star…”
