Labo-O-Kult GmbH reserves the right to make any changes to this privacy policy which complies with the applicable laws.
Therefore, please read this Privacy Policy periodically, especially before you submit any personal information.
Any personal data transmitted to us is kept in confidence and is subject to the statutory regulations on data protection. We guarantee that none of the data communicated to us is forwarded to third parties.
Certain information can be used for internal purposes and promotional purposes on our behalf.
In case of doubt, the German version of the Privacy Policy always applies.

Access Data / Server-Logfiles

For statistical purposes, our web space provider, Infomaniak, collects data on each access to our sites (so-called server log files). The access data includes: name of the retrieved web page, files, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, message about successful retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the provider.
Infomaniak strictly adheres to the GDPR and is in compliance with this regulation. As a Swiss hosting provider Infomaniak operates within strict regulations and their absolute priority, security, represents a commitment well beyond the legal framework.

We use the log data only for statistical evaluations, security and optimization of our offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently review the log data if there is proof or a justified suspicion that illegal activities have been committed.

Processing and handling of personal data

This Policy applies to all personal information received by Labo-O-Kult GmbH in any format.  For purpose of this Policy, “personal information” means any information or set of information that identifies or could be used by or on behalf of Labo-O-Kult GmbH to identify an individual. This may include the name, email address or phone number but also data about preferences, hobbies or which websites were viewed by someone are part of personal data.

Among other things, we collect and process your data in order to execute your order, to ensure services and to communicate with you. Your personal data will be deleted if you make use of your right of withdrawal and if the data for the purpose of registration are no longer needed, as far as it isn’t excluded by statutory storage obligation.

By contacting us  (for example by using the contact form or sending an e-mail), the user data will be stored for the purpose of processing of the request as well as in the event of follow-up questions.

Comments and Contributions 

When users leave comments in the blog or other posts, their IP addresses are stored for our security. If someone writes comments and posts with illegal content (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.) we may be prosecuted for these comments or contributions and therefore interested in the identity of the author.

Integration of third party content and services

It is possible that content and services from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are included in our online offer.

This always presupposes that the providers of this content and services (hereinafter referred to as “third party provider”) perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they are not able to send the content to the browser of each user. The IP address is therefore required for the contents’ presentation.
We try to use only services whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we do not have any influence on the third parties  if for example the save the IP address for statistical purposes. 

Use of Google Analytics

Labo-O-Kult GmbH reserves the right to use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC („Google“), Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are saved on your computer and that enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website (including your IP address) is sent to a Google server in the United States where it is stored.

Sending out Newsletter

In order to be able to inform about our products and news – especially in the form of newsletters – we use the Swiss web provider “Infomaniak”, which has committed itself to a strict observance of the EU data protection law as well as the protection of the data of our newsletter customers.  The e-mail addresses required for sending out the newsletter, as well as any other data listed in the following paragraphs, are stored on Infomaniak’s servers and are only used for the purpose of sending and evaluating newsletters on behalf of Labo-O-Kult GmbH. We would like to point out that when sending the newsletter, we will evaluate your user behavior for internal analysis.

To register for our newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after subscribing to our newsletter service by giving us your e-mail address, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to the specified e-mail address asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you confirm to receive the newsletter, we will save your e-mail address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The purpose of storage is solely to send you the newsletter. Furthermore, we store your IP addresses the registration time in order to prevent misuse of your personal data.

Obligatory indication for subscribing to our newsletter is only the e-mail address.
(All further details, marked separately, is voluntary and is used solely for a possible personalization of the newsletter. These data will also completely been deleted upon revocation.)

Revocation, Changes, Rectifications and Updates

The user has the right, upon request, to receive free information about the personal data that has been stored about him. In addition, he has the right to correct incorrect data, to block and delete his personal data provided, if there is no legal obligation to keep records.

If you have given us your consent to the use and processing of your personal data for marketing purposes (such as electronic newsletters, use of analysis programs…) you can withdraw them at any time, informally and with effect for the future.
