When nights are getting colder and autumn colours are taking over the most of Bernese Oberland deers migrate to the Justistal valley between the villages of Sigriswil and Beatenberg to take part in the rut. I immortalised the impressive roaring of the red deer over the Sichle, the steep pass from the Eriz to the Justistal. Bring home this fascinating wildlife spectacle with this HelvEdition illustration.
